Eligibility and Restrictions

1. Eligibility is limited to inbound group travelers of foreign nationality, with a minimum of 10 persons per group. Children under the age of 2 on the departure date of the travel itinerary, as well as tour guides, tour leaders, drivers, and other accompanying personnel, shall not be counted.

2. Group travelers must enter Taiwan from overseas to be eligible.

3. The itinerary must include at least two designated attractions in Pingtung County as specified by the Pingtung County Government, and group photos must be taken at the attractions as supporting documentation.

*Applications must be submitted by legally registered travel agencies in Taiwan.

1. Eligibility is limited to domestic group travelers of Taiwanese nationality, with a minimum of 10 persons per group. Children under the age of 2 on the departure date of the travel itinerary, as well as accompanying personnel such as tour leaders, tour guides, and drivers, shall not be counted.

2. Senior travelers must account for at least one-half of the total group size.
*Senior travelers are defined as persons who are 65 years of age or older on the departure date of the travel itinerary.

3. The itinerary must include at least two  designated attractions  in Pingtung County as specified by the Pingtung County Government, and group photos must be taken at the attractions as supporting documentation.

*Applications must be submitted by legally registered travel agencies in Taiwan.

Funding & Subsidies

1. Accommodation Subsidy:
For groups staying at legal accommodation providers in Pingtung County listed on the Taiwan Tourism Administration’s TaiwanStay website, travel agencies may receive a subsidy of up to NT$500 per person per night. For groups staying at accommodation providers included in the annual list of Pingtung Golden Key Award–winning friendly accommodations, travel agencies may receive a subsidy of up to NT$1,000 per person per night. The accommodation subsidy is limited to a maximum of four nights per group.

2. Transportation Subsidy:
For itineraries that include the use of legal transportation services, such as tour buses, Taiwan High Speed Rail, Taiwan Railways, passenger ferries, or intercity buses, travel agencies may receive a subsidy of up to NT$500 per person.

3. Additional Transportation Subsidy:
For tour groups that do not enter Taiwan via Kaohsiung or Pingtung, an additional transportation subsidy of NT$10,000 per group may be granted. This additional subsidy may only be applied for when the transportation subsidy stated in the preceding item has also been applied for.

Note1. Accommodation subsidies are granted on a per-group basis. Each group may apply for a maximum of four nights.

Note 2: If the accommodation is a “Pingtung Golden Key Award Friendly Accommodation,” please indicate this in the remarks section of the application form.

Note 3. Transportation subsidies cannot be applied for separately. Applicants must stay at least one night at a legally registered accommodation establishment in Pingtung County to be eligible for the transportation subsidy.

Application Procedure and Deadline

Step 1: Complete the Online Application Form
Travel agencies must submit the online application on this website within 30 calendar days from the day following the completion of the group travel itinerary.

Step 2: Submit the Printed Application Documents for Reimbursement
After completing the online application, please print out the application form. The application number will appear at the top of the form; please note that the application is valid only if this application number is included.

The printed application documents must be mailed to the designated location specified by the Pingtung County Government within 15 calendar days from the day following completion of the online application. Documents must be submitted in one envelope per application and sent by registered mail with return receipt. The postmark date shall serve as proof of mailing. Late submissions will not be reviewed.

Note: For groups with travel itineraries departing between June 1, 2027 and June 30, 2027, the application period may be extended until July 31, 2027. Late applications will not be accepted.

The printed application documents must be mailed to the designated location specified by the Pingtung County Government within 15 calendar days from the day following completion of the online application. Documents must be submitted in one envelope per application and sent by registered mail with return receipt. The postmark date shall serve as proof of mailing. Late submissions will not be reviewed.

Note: For groups with travel itineraries departing between June 1, 2027 and June 30, 2027, the application period may be extended until July 31, 2027. Late applications will not be accepted.

Checklist of Supporting Documents

1. Application Form (Attachment 1).

2. Receipt (Attachment 2) and a photocopy of the cover page of the financial institution passbook.

3. Statement of Expenditure Details (Attachment 3).

4. Affidavit (Attachment 4).
※ Consent from the travelers is required.

5. Photocopies of expenditure receipts for subsidized items (Attachment 5):
(1) Photocopies of accommodation expense receipts issued by legal accommodation providers in Pingtung County.
(2) Photocopies of transportation expense receipts issued by legal transportation service providers, such as invoices or receipts for chartered tour buses, or ticket stubs or proof of ticket purchase for Taiwan High Speed Rail, Taiwan Railways, passenger ferries, or intercity buses.

※ If the actual accommodation and transportation expenses do not reach the maximum subsidy amount, the subsidy shall be granted based on the actual amount spent.

6. Supporting documents for the additional transportation subsidy:
Photocopies of group ticket purchase documents for all travelers in the group, such as boarding passes or ticketing records.

※ The additional transportation subsidy is a fixed amount of NT$10,000 per group and shall not be adjusted based on the actual amount spent.

7. At least two group photos taken at Pingtung County attractions (Attachment 6, taken at different attractions). The photos must be taken at attractions designated by the Pingtung County Government. Please refer to the designated attractions page for details.

8. Actual group travel itinerary, including the full itinerary. The itinerary may include destinations outside Pingtung County.

9. Photocopy of the travel agency liability insurance policy or certificate, and proof of group members’ travel insurance, duly stamped by the insurance company.

10. List of inbound group travelers of foreign nationality, including serial number, name, date of birth, nationality, passport number or Taiwan entry visa number, and other basic information sufficient to verify the traveler’s identity. Accompanying personnel must be clearly indicated. If such information cannot be provided due to restrictions under local laws or regulations, relevant supporting documents must be attached.

11. Photocopy of the document stamped by the overseas tour-organizing travel agency.

12. In addition to the documents listed above, the Pingtung County Government may, depending on actual circumstances, request the travel agency to provide supplementary documents, such as GPS records or vehicle driving records. The applicant organization may not refuse to provide such documents.

13. Each page of the application documents must be stamped with the company’s official seal and the responsible person’s seal.

9. Traveler list, including serial number, name, National ID number, and date of birth. Accompanying personnel must be clearly indicated. Travelers must be nationals of the Republic of China; overseas Chinese holding foreign passports shall not be recognized as eligible travelers.

10. Photocopies of identity documents for travelers aged 65 or above, such as National ID cards, driver’s licenses, or other documents that can verify age.

11. In addition to the documents listed above, the Pingtung County Government may, depending on actual circumstances, request the travel agency to provide supplementary documents. The applicant organization may not refuse to provide such documents.

12. Each page of the application documents must be stamped with the company’s official seal and the responsible person’s seal.

Note

4. This program is processed on a first-come, first-reviewed basis. Applications will no longer be accepted once the program budget has been fully used.

5. Each page of the application documents must be stamped with the company’s official seal and the responsible person’s seal.

6. Each travel agency may submit applications for up to 50 tour groups in total, including applications submitted by its head office and branch offices combined.

Application and Reimbursement Process

Both procedures follow the same general framework: applicants must first complete the online application and obtain approval, before proceeding with the disbursement process in accordance with the approved details.
